Cookies & browser storage
This policy explains storage used by the Switch On website, including cookies and similar technologies such as local storage. Updated 4 November 2026.
Essential website and account functions
The public enquiry journey does not require an advertising or analytics cookie. Where you sign in to a protected Switch On area, the authentication provider uses browser storage to maintain your session, refresh access and support account security. Hosting and security providers may use necessary storage to protect requests and keep the website available. These functions are used to provide the service you request.
Analytics and advertising
Switch On does not currently load Google Analytics, Meta advertising pixels or optional marketing trackers through its website shell. We have not copied another business’s analytics identifiers. We will update this policy and provide an appropriate choice before introducing optional storage that requires consent. There is currently no optional analytics category to accept.
Payment pages and external services
If you follow an enabled payment link, Stripe operates the hosted payment page under its own privacy and cookie information. External social platforms and other websites apply their own policies after you visit them. A link is not an embedded advertising tracker.
Managing storage
You can inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Deleting sign-in storage signs you out and may prevent protected account features working until you sign in again. Session duration and token expiry follow the authentication provider’s settings; deleting storage does not delete booking records held by Switch On.
